FloridaWorld - A Novel

Sometimes a book comes out of left field and smacks you upside the head; leaving you pondering what the hell you just read.
This is one of them. The characters are all terribly flawed, and their traumas are examined and artfully crafted into a tale of bizarre humor and a certain gentleness that incongruously works.
I didn’t like a lot of the characters, but at times I felt them deeply. The storytelling is superb in its clarity and descriptive prose.
I’m grateful I got the chance to join Eric as he discovers the reality of FloridaWorld. It’s a dark, bumpy, and imaginative ride that will make you laugh and then gasp in horror.

I love this book, and will recommend it to anyone who is ready for a wild adventure.

FloridaWorld - A Novel

Welch is a wonderful storyteller using a cast of eclectic characters to create a dark comedy worthy to sit on any bookshelf. Plenty of plot twists and more!

Elise and The Astonishing Aquanauts

I bought both books in this series for my teenage daughter for Christmas, who loves to read. She thoroughly enjoyed them and was completely immersed in the story, feeling connected to the characters throughout Elise’s journey. She laughed, she cried (literally at the end of Book 1), and said she would happily read them again.

Elise and The Astonishing Aquanauts

What a great book! The storyline and characters are so well developed that it feels, like I have been following them for years. So many dystopian stories get muddled up in the effort to create a dark and grim world. I fell like Mr. Welch has done a wonderful job in both creating a great landscape but also keeping a vibe of hope throughout. I am excited to start the next book and if you haven’t purchased thus one yet, do yourself a favor and get it now. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely loved it! Great character development and imaginative plot. This is the kind of story I would love to see made into a movie. A great adventure from start to end. Well done!
